The structural portion of the bar is made from white furniture grade PVC pipe and special fittings that resemble bamboo nodules.
Eight pre-assembled sections slip together and interlock to create the unique design bar frame that is easy to assemble and disassemble.
The bar top measures 60″ x 24″ and is made from 1/2″ cabinet grade birch laminated plywood. Edges are expertly trimmed with corner molding. The entire bar top is finished with multiple coats of exterior grade polyurethane.
Double your storage area behind the Tiki Bar with the additional lower shelf that comes included with this package. This keeps products and supplies off the ground.
The storage shelf measures 48″ x 18″ and 14″ in height to provide plenty of storage space whether for sales literature, cash drawer or favorite cocktails, mixers, ice bucket and other Tiki Bar essentials.
Your Tiki Bar will be totally portable with a set of 5 locking wheels, which comes included with this package.
Natural Reed Bar Skirt with Vinyl Backing
The skirt has natural reed sewn to a pliable and waterproof vinyl backing material to create a durable product well suited for transporting the Tiki Bar and subjecting it to constant set up and disassembly.
It nicely trims the reed edges and completely eliminates the view of supplies stored behind the Tiki Bar. The skirt attaches easily and quickly with velcro straps.
PVC Bamboo Uprights
The roof uprights are covered with a unique PVC bamboo having the look and feel of real bamboo adding to the overall aesthetics of the bar.
The footrest is an integral part of the interlocking Tiki Bar frame and is wrapped with “unmanila” rope.
The unmanila rope is a man-made product that looks just like natural manila rope, but will not discolor or mildew.
A power cord is pre-installed into the roof uprights for the supplies lighting options, or otherwise ready for you to add your own theme lighting.
This is also useful to provide power for electrical devices without messy electrical cords hanging over the bar top.
These carry bags are great for clean, safe storage or to keep all pieces organized during transport.
Commercial users also find that using the bag set adds to the professional appearance of their services.
A. Smith & Son, Inc created a custom design specifically for this Tiki Bar. The set of bags includes a Roof Bag, a Bar Top & Shelving Bag and a bag that handles the PVC pipe and skirt.
Each bag has a detachable shoulder strap to make carrying even easier. Also included are special velcro wraps for the skirt and power cord and click buckle straps to secure the PVC pipe.
When Your Tiki Bar Arrives
Your bar will arrive in a wood crate six feet long, 30 inches wide and 8 inches deep. It will weigh up to 145 pounds. Don’t worry, it will be a lot lighter when it comes out of the crate!
For the time being you might want to have a helper. The crate will be secured with 2 steel bands. Not a necessity but we like to be sure. The best way to remove it is to slide the band between the claws of a hammer. A little twist of the wrist should pop the band. Just for safety sake cover your eyes for the pop.
If you have an electric screwdriver with a standard hex bit the next step will go much more quickly. The addressed side of the crate is secured with screws. Lay the crate flat and remove all the screws to remove the cover. Under the foam you’ll find an Inspection Notice. Save the notice for instructions in the event there were any shipping problems. Problems are rare but always a possibility.
You’ll also find a few additional notes here about moving ahead with assembling your bar. Many parts of your bar are now readily accessible and should be removed from the crate. A few cloth straps are stapled to keep parts tightly packed. They can be easily cut with scissors.
The last hurdle is to remove the 8 screws on the narrow sides of the crate. These screws hold the two wood crosspieces inside the crate that keep your bar top and shelving in place. Should you want to reuse your crate for future shipping of your bar, retain the two wood crosspieces.
Congratulations! You have completed the unpacking. Please refer to your Assembly Instructions to get details for bar assembly or carry bag use.
They are also included in the crate printed for your convenience.

I’ve seen other tiki bars recently that are cheaper than your bar. What makes your bar better?
Durability. Some units have very light framing for the roof which isn’t good or even safe for outdoor use. The strength of the base is important if you ever want to use frozen drink machines or other equipment on the bar top. Next, portability. Heavier wood bars frequently become unstable once moved. Durability and portability are the hallmark of the Paradise Portable Tiki Bar. The old adage of ‘getting what you pay for’ certainly applies here. So does ‘Made in the USA’.
What do you need to transport the bar?
The Tiki Bar comes apart quickly and is quite compact. The custom bag set included with this package was designed specifically for easy transport. The largest piece of the disassembled bar is the roof unit. It is light and thin (about 2 ½”) but it is 72” long. Many SUV’s and cars with fold down back seats will accommodate this piece as well as the balance of the bar.
I’m not mechanically inclined, how difficult is it to assemble the bar? What tools are required?
You do not need any special skills to assemble the bar. Complete instructions are included and a step-by-step video shown above. Other than perhaps the first time or two, it takes about 10 minutes to fully set up the unit. The PVC pieces slip together and interlock. The shelving and bar top also interlock with the frame. Tools are generally not required but the assistance of an inexpensive rubber mallet can make the process easier. A Phillips screwdriver is helpful if you select wheels for your Tiki Bar to tighten two small screws at the base of the unit.
Is the bar top able to hold the weight for equipment like blenders?
This bar is made of 1 ¼” PVC pipe which is the same pipe used in the manufacture of PVC furniture. The top and shelving is made of ½” birch plywood which is also capable of holding considerable weight. The bar is used by some owners to hold commercial frozen drink machines.
Are bar stools available with the bar?
Depending on your intended use, the addition of bar stools is a good one. They are attractive and functional. We do not offer stools, however, we have found that inexpensive natural wood bar stools are readily available in most locations.
Do parts of the bar require replacement under normal use?
With normal use and proper care, the bar should offer years of service without the need to replace parts. However, if the part is transported frequently or handled roughly, the natural components such as the reed skirt and the grass roof may deteriorate over time. If you need any assistance with replacing anything, contact us at the phone number listed on this website, or, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How big is the bar?
The bar top measures 60” long and 24” deep. The roof is 72” long and 84” from the floor to the peak.
Are there options available if I order a Tiki Bar?
There are numerous options for the bar, most of which are shown on our website. Options include lighting choices, misting system, and carrying bags.
How much space does the bar take up when disassembled?
The bar collapses into a small area. For instance, a bar could be easily stored under a normal size bed. The PVC pipe frame forms its own storage frame and measures 44” long, 22” wide and 8” deep. The roof unit, including the bamboo frame and natural grass covering, folds to a thickness of 2 ½”. The roof is 72” long and 32” wide. The bar top and shelf are each ½” thick. The bar top is 60” by 24” and the shelf is 48” by 18”. We also offer a three piece custom bag set which holds the entire bar and makes it easy to carry and store.
Do people mainly buy the Paradise Portable Tiki Bar for backyard use?
This bar was originally designed for tailgating and is why it was made so portable. People liked the fact that they didn’t look or act portable and began using them as regular furniture – both indoors and outside. Commercial users began using ththis bar for catering, trade shows and to draw attention at many types of events.
Do you recommend using your tiki bar outdoors?
Our tiki bar is sturdy and durable which makes it perfectly suited to outdoor use. The roof affords a great deal of protection from sun and although not entirely waterproof it will give good protection from light rain. We do not recommend sustained outdoor use however. The natural grasses used for roofing and the bar skirt will discolor over time with continued exposure to water. In addition, the bar top and shelf are finished furniture grade wood. They are treated with the best of exterior finishes but will also discolor and begin to degrade with continued exposure to moisture. The best approach for longevity is to bring the natural components of the bar indoors when not in use.
Are replacement parts available for your tiki bar?
Yes, replacement parts are standardized and are available for all components of our tiki bars. Although not common, we have supplied replacement parts, usually to commercial customers that have had components damaged or lost in the course of transporting the bar. Again, you may phone us at the phone number listed on this website, or use: email@example.com
